Citizens Financial Group, Inc.

Carlton Williams is Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Corporate Banking for Citizens Financial Group, Inc. Corporate Banking is the largest division within the Commercial Banking Group, holding approximately $70Bn in loan commitments and generating roughly 70% of annualized Commercial Banking revenue and pre-tax income, respectively.

As CAO, Williams is responsible for the overall coordination of operational, sales management and human capital processes and procedures to enable the Corporate Banking Group to efficiently deliver products and services to the Group’s 6,000 primary clients within the Middle Market, MidCorporate, Asset-Based, Franchise, National Verticals and Not-for-Profit line of business units. Currently 225 colleagues are employed in Corporate Banking, residing along with roughly 350 portfolio managers, credit analysts and key cross-sale business partners, both within our 11 state Citizens Bank footprint and selectively in other major U.S. geographies including CA, TX, IL, VA, NC, GA and FL.

Williams joined Citizens in 2007 as a Senior Banker in the MidCorporate Banking Group, ultimately leading sales management for that Group prior to being promoted to his current role in 2010. Before joining Citizens, Williams was the Regional Vice President for Wells Fargo Bank, responsible for the opening and management of the Regional Commercial Banking Office in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to that, he held senior banking positions at Key Bank and The First National Bank of Boston in their investment and commercial banking line of businesses, respectively.

Williams is a graduate of Northeastern University, where he received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing and from East Carolina University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a native of Wilmington, NC and now resides in Plymouth, MA.
