While attending Creighton University, Scott started his banking career with an internship as a credit analyst with First National Bank of Omaha. He graduated from Creighton University in May of 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance. After graduation, Scott entered the management-training program with Commercial Federal Bank in Omaha, NE. Upon completion of the training program, he became a branch manager for two of Commercial Federal’s branches in Lincoln, NE.

February of 2002 marked the beginning of a ten-year period with US Bank where Scott held the position of Business Banking Officer. The first three years he spent in Minneapolis, and the remaining seven in Denver as a Business Banking Sales Manager.

In March of 2012, Scott went to work for Bank of the West as the Administration Manager for the Business Banking Offices. In May of 2015, Bank of the West promoted him to the National Manager for the Small Business Relationship Management Group. In this role, Scott will be responsible for developing and then leading 130 employees with multiple sites of centralized relationship managers. These Relationship Managers will focus on enhancing the relationship of high value, high opportunity business customers with revenues less than $10 Million.

In October of 2017, Scott joined Huntington National Bank as the Business Banking Strategy Director. Scott is responsible for not only Business Banking Strategy but centralized sales for Business Banking as well.
