Nick Miller

President

Clarity Advantage Corporation

Following a small business sales consulting project with a regional bank, “I fell in love with small business banking”. Since that point, I’ve assisted commercial and small business banking sales teams to generate more profitable relationships, faster, by closing the “advice and counsel” gap between what clients hope for and what banks and bankers deliver.

I’ve consulted with community, regional, and money center banks and credit unions in the US, Canada, and Mexico on content marketing strategy, sales strategy, implementation of new sales initiatives, business partner alignment, value propositions, sales process, customer experience, sales support and enablement, and staff skills development and training.

In addition, I have written extensively on marketing and selling to small business clients and prospects, developing trusted advisor relationships, and value-based conversations. My “Weekly Sales Thought” column circulates globally to over 7,000 readers (over 1,000 issues published). Journals and websites including ababankmarketing.com, BAI Banking Strategies, Sales & Marketing Management, Commercial Lending Review, The RMA Journal, and American Banker have published articles I’ve created.

I am proudly a co-founder of the leading industry intelligence platform, Vertical IQ; the American partner for small business content strategy provider The Small Business Company; and a director on the board of the Irish software company, Econiq. I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts with my wife, four acoustic guitars, an old Conn baritone horn, dozens of books on small boat sailing, and a treasury of bright bow ties.
