Dee O’Dell is the head of Business Banking Sales at U.S. Bank, based in Charlotte, N.C. He oversees the sales and service operations for business clients with $2.5 million to $25 million in annual revenue, reporting to the vice chairman of Consumer and Business Banking.

O’Dell joined U.S. Bank in 2009, and his previous roles have included leading the East Region for the Consumer and Business Banking Group and serving as a senior manager in Corporate Banking. He started his banking career at Wachovia, where he held leadership roles in investment banking, corporate banking, capital markets and credit underwriting.

In the Charlotte community, O’Dell currently serves as the chairman of the board of directors for the United Way of Greater Charlotte and as a trustee for the Charlotte Mecklenburg Community Foundation. He previously served as the Co-Chair of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Opportunity Task Force, which produced findings that have shaped the community dialogue on economic mobility.

O’Dell was born and raised in Oxford, Mississippi. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and received an MBA from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan Flagler School of Business. He and his wife, Christina, have three daughters in college.
