ABOUT
Devin Jordan is currently an assistant football coach for THE Ohio State University and an exclusive motivational speaker for THE Ohio State University Alumni Association. He is also the founder of Beyond The Game non-profit organization and has a passion of enriching the lives of young people and giving back to the community. He is a former student athlete at
Massillon Washington High School and THE Ohio State University.

FOOTBALL BACKGROUND
Devin was a highly recruited football prospect coming out of Massillon Washington high school setting dozens of records that still stand today for the storied program. He was apart of 2 State finalist teams and he was named 1st team All-Ohio in 2000 & 2001 while being named captain. In 2016, Devin was inducted into the Stark County football Hall of Fame.
He received an athletic scholarship to play at THE Ohio State University where he was a part of 3 Big Ten Championship Teams and 2 teams that made it to the National Championship game and has 4 victories over The Team Up North (Michigan). He had dreams and the talent to make it to the NFL. One day, however, that dream was cut short due to injury, which lead him into coaching college football. He has been a college football coach for 15 years, coaching 11 All-Americans, 8 NFL players and 5 other professional football players. This year he coached Marvin Harrison Jr. who was named college football’s best Wide Receiver!

COMMUNITY BACKGROUND
In March of 2014, Devin founded the organization Beyond The Game which to this date has mentored over 15,000 kids, donated over $100,000 in school supplies, food and clothes to families and provided over 4,000 kids in the state of Ohio a free summer camp.
Some of Beyond The Games key programs include: Guys With Ties- The 3rd grade groups motto is “Look Good, Feel Good, Do good”. This program has been featured Multiple
times in the Canton repository, Cleveland’s Fox 8 news and WKYC channel 6. This program is currently in over 60 schools and will have over 3,000 boys in this program in the 2023-24 school year. The program has expanded to 7 states outside of Ohio this school year. Girls With Pearls- The 3rd grade groups motto is “Treasured, Valued, Empowered” and promotes healthy relationships and values to give young girls the skills to prepare for womanhood. This program will have over 500 members in it this year throughout the country. Friday Night Lights Summer Youth Football Camp- This camp for grades K-8 has grown to be a popular camp throughout the state of Ohio. This camp features current college athletes and NFL players. This year it was hosted at the NFL Hall of Fame Village fields with over 550 campers! Mental Manual- Devin Created a book called the “Mental Manual” that helps people, specifically student-athletes deal with mental health by positive self-reflection every day. Beyond The game has donated over 5,000 of these manuals to kids in Northeast Ohio.
Funds were raised by an online fundraiser by Cleveland Browns Tight End Harrison Bryant. This story was featured on WKYC channel 6 news.

Devin has a strong passion for helping Student-athletes win on the field, but more importantly off of it.
