Featuring: Holly Hughes, CMO, BAI; Marlon Moore, Ph.D, President, Marlon Moore Consulting, LLC. and Sandy Hanson, Barlow Research Associates, Inc.
Only 17% of all small businesses ($100K-<$10MM in sales) are minority-owned (50%+ ownership), however, this segment is growing, up from 11% in 2013. While there are limited demographic and banking behavior differences between minority-owned and non-minority-owned companies, there are key differences in bank brand ratings, satisfaction and primary bank loyalty. Minority-owned companies also tend to have a harder time obtaining credit.
